Advantages of doing dog training by yourself
Dog training is necessary for numerous reasons. You cannot expect your dog to behave properly until he understands why he should do so. Further, he needs to understand how to behave with different people such as an unwanted intruder or a harmless baby. He would create a lot of nuisance if he doesn’t understand the need of being disciplined. The inability of dogs to understand our language and vice versa is the biggest hurdle in dog training. Thus training the dog is necessary and you must know the reasons of training him by yourself.
1. Your dog must bond well with you. The dog is known to be of great use for humans. Besides being pets, they can serve the purpose of guarding your homes during the day. A dog can be a friend too, and you will find that you get stress relief when you are with your dog. However, if you use an expert trainer, your dog might not be able to bond well with you or he may take some time to adjust to you.
2. If you get a dog which has been trained by someone else, he may take some time to understand your actions. This is because every one has a different style of training and it is possible that the dog may get confused after his trainer has handed him to you.
3. Training a dog is very important to prevent him from being an unruly and troublesome dog. A dog that has not been trained may try to bite everyone including your family members, guests, neighbors and everyone else.
4. If your dog is trained well, he will turn out to be a good friend. You can even play certain ball or disc games with him. If you are tired from your day at the office, school or college, playing with your dog will refresh you. You can gather the kids in your family to play with your dog and it would remove any kind of fear in them with respect to your dog.
5. Training your dog with the help of a professional trainer can cost you a lot. In case your budget doesn’t allow you to do so, you should go for training your dog all by yourself. Further, one cannot be completely sure on whether the dog would respond well to the trainer or not. The training schools have some set patterns for training the dogs that may not be good for every dog.
6. Training the dog can be entertaining for you as well. It can be a good way of passing your time. Training the dog at your own home would help him to get familiar with the surroundings and adjust quickly.
